AJ Timepieces ("we", "us") is a private watch dealer based in London. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number.
• Details about watches you want to sell, value, buy or bid on.
• Bid amounts placed on our Deal of the Month.
• Basic, anonymous usage data (only if you accept analytics cookies).

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, valuation, sale or bid, usually via WhatsApp, phone or email.
• To complete a purchase, sale or part-exchange and meet legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering checks.
• To send stock alerts, only if you join our Broadcast List.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent, on taking steps towards a contract at your request, and on our legal obligations.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We use trusted providers for website hosting, data storage and messaging (including WhatsApp), who process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Transaction records are kept for as long as the law requires (typically 6 years).

Cookies

We use essential storage to run the site and remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner.

Your rights
